(NEW) MazWell ThanaTape

MazWell ThanaTape is a sealing material and has been specially developed for embalming.

• For sealing incisions, lacerations, abrasions, punctures, leaking wounds and skin slip.
• Provides a complete seal and dries the tissue, eliminating leaks. Replaces the traditional “liquid skin” and you no longer need to wait for the sealant to dry.
• A highly aggressive, non-sterile adhesive ensures no slippage. Once applied, the exterior can get wet without compromising the seal.
• Easy to apply. Saves time, avoids “problems”, saves money.
• The tape can be easily cut to the desired length.
• Under no circumstances should it be used on living tissue.
• Non-sterile and in a dispenser box.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

• Clean and dry the area around the incision or wound.
• Remove half the tape using forceps, apply to the cut or wound and then remove the remaining from the backing.
• Press onto the skin with the flat of your hand for approx. 10 – 30 seconds with firm and even pressure to complete the sealing.
• Please note: Moisture and dirt on the tissue may result in an incomplete seal. Advisable to cut or shave any hair off beforehand. Do not apply any creams, lotions, oils or powders to the selected area, as this could impair the adhesive strength.

STORAGE

• Store in a cool, dark place below 25° C. Avoid exposure to sunlight.
